Goodmorning everyone,

I’m sorry that I had to skip my last article, but I’m here today with the review of Kind rising by C. S. Pacat sent by Triskell edizioni as soon as the review copies were available.

This is the concluding volume of the trilogy and, Oh My God, this book was spectacular. Damen is Laurent are fantastic, I could not stop reading, especially in the scenes that saw both protagonists. This was an exciting book, much more than the other two.

Laurent knew all about Damen, he knew that he was the prince who killed his brother, he always knew, and his approach was just a trick, but Damen feels are real, and soon, when Laurent gets drunk, Damen will discover that deep down even the prince feels something for him, feelings that will only strengthen more and more.

I have no words to describe how this book was. The two boys go against the principles of their friends, allying to recover their kingdoms. But the real exciting part, which really makes us realize that Damen cares about Laurent, and Laurent cares about Damen, is the end, when the prince of Akielos risks his own life to save that of his lover, and the prince of Vere kills Castor to protect the person he cares most in the world.

Laurent at the beginning of this volume may seem bad, as you can read from my Goodreads updates, but soon he will turn out to be a lonely, honest guy with a great willpower, who still suffers greatly from the loss of his older brother. He is a boy who is devoted to his people and his homeland, as Damen say.

And the only thing left to do is to urge you to read this trilogy. The story reads itself, is engaging, exciting, and the volumes are really small. Perhaps this is the only downside, because I personally would have wished so much bigger.

At the next article, and if you have any advice let me know because I have no idea what to publish.
