Hello Books Lovers,

Strange but true I have already read almost two books of my December TBR. The first one I wanted to read was Torn by Jennifer L. Armentrout, the second of the Wicked trilogy that at this point I can’t wait to finish. The end of this is just mind-blowing, but we’ll talk about that later. Because in order to talk about the end we have to talk about the beginning first, right?

If you are reading this you have probably also read Wicked, and I hope so because there will be some spoilers from the first book. At this point you will remember for sure that the first volume ended with Ivy discovering that she was the half-breed everyone was looking for, her boyfriend, Ren, included since that was precisely why he was sent to New Orleans, to find and kill the half-breed to prevent the fairy prince from destroying humanity.

Torn verge precisely on this, to avoid that Ivy ends up in the hands of the prince and if that means revealing everything to Ren, then so be it, if he really cares about Ivy he would never report her to the order. From the very first pages of his entrance in the story we all understood that we can blindly trust Ren, and our instincts as women never lie!

We know that Ren has already lost his best friend as half-breed, and thankfully he is not inclined to lose someone else close to him. He’ll go a little crazy at first but luckily he’ll come to his senses pretty quickly. The problem is that from this point on, things will evolve just as fast and the prince will enter their lives too fast.

One thing I found unnerving was the fact that Ivy was unable to understand that Ren was not Ren at a certain point when all the signs immediately revealed the truth but patience. But you want to know about the biggest, and sexiest, revelation of this book, Tinkerbell isn’t really just a simple pixie, that’s all a cover, he’s actually as big and chunky as Ren, with sculpted muscles and an unforgettable body, as far as the imagination allows to visualize from the details given by the Armentrout.

There are actually various interesting revelations in this book, including some old collaborators of the order that one could never have imagined, the Fairies, from here you can understand that if you have not done so you absolutely must complete the trilogy.

In the meantime, I am in the process of completing the second reading of my December TBR, Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco. I keep you updated on social media, meanwhile you are the first to know my current readings, sometimes I forget to update social media XD.

P.S. not even this reading is sponsored by the publisher.

Mi chiamo Miriam e sono l'amministratore di Me and Books.
