Top 10: Books I’m looking forward to read in 2018
Hello everyone,
for today I was going to publish a Christmas book tag, but watching a bit on the blogs I follow I found on Silvy ‘s blog this article that I immediately fell in love with and I decided to do it too. Is practically on the 10th book coming out in 2018 that we cannot wait to read.
The first three books that I can’t wait to read, as well as for Silvy, are those of Sarah J. Maas, a spectacular author who will publish three books in three different series next year.
A Court of Frost and Starlight, a continuation of ACOTAR, ACOMAF and ACOWAR, in which the events are told from where we left. A book small that should act as a bridge between old and new stories, in which are introduced the adventures that Feyre and the others will undertake.
Catwoman: Soulstealer, third of the four books that will make up the DC Icons series, started with Wonderwoman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo, followed by Batman: Nightwalker by Marie Lu, and will end with Superman by Matt de la Pena.
And finally from the same author is the seventh and final book of the exciting and stunning series of “The throne of glass” that follows the story of Aileen, now a prisoner of Queen Maeve, and Rowan, desperate to found and bring back his beloved.
Next, one of the books that I look forward to is Batman: Nightwalker by Marie Lu, already mentioned before, whose publication is now imminent in the US because scheduled for January 2nd, 2018. And then, even if someone does not like superheroes, or in the case of Catwoman, Villains, you just need to take a look at the covers of these books to fall in love with them. They are so rich of details, colorful and beautiful, and the authors are not far behind.
Following there is a book that instantly became a New York Times bestseller. This book was written by two amazing American Booktuber, even this cover is spectacular. I’m talking about Zenith: The androma saga #1 by Sasha Alsberg (Abookutopia) and Lindsay Cummings (Lindsay Cummings). This book is a Sci-fi set in a completely invented galaxy, the first of a duology.
In this list certainly can’t miss the last book of The Dark Artificies, Queen of Air and Darkness by my beloved Cassandra Clare, queen of fantasy that never ceases to amaze us with her stories each different from the other. She also decided to write an high-fantasy adult book that will certainly come out in 2019, set in a totally different world from the Shadowhunters. This first book is called Sword Catcher.
In addition, Cassandra Clare will soon also release the first of 10 stories of “Ghosts of the Shadow Market” that will be published as usual one each month in digital format and will talk about the beautiful Jem Carstairs. The co-authors for these stories are: Maureen Johnson, Robin Wasserman, Sarah Rees Brennan and Kelly Link, latest addition to the Clare team. Here you find the first image released for these stories.
Another astonishing book is also published, the publication is coming soon, The Cruel Prince by Holly Black which, even though she almost always write about fairies, she always manages to find a new story that makes us fall in love more than the previous one and I really can’t wait to read this book, of which the title already attracts you. And I also inform you that Barnes and Noble has a special edition if you are interested. I almost certainly will stop by.
Since I read the plot and saw the cover of this book I fell in love with it, which is also coming out on January 2nd . The title is Everless and the author is Sara Holland, and I say no more because it will be the beautiful cover to talk in my place.
And last, but not least, a book that I’m waiting with great anxiety. Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian.
I know for sure that despite the fact that I really want to read these books I will never make it because then I will have too many review copies and I will not have time, but I’ll do everything I can to bring the reviews of this books to you, I promise.
To the next time,
Miriam.
