Teen Titans – Beast Boy loves Raven by Kami Garcia & Gabriel Picolo
Hello Books Lovers,
today is a great day because the third volume of the Graphic Novel series dedicated to the Teen Titans is officially released. If you have read the reviews of the previous two, you already know the title of this one because I think I have mentioned it a dozen times. Beast Boy loves Raven, it is already clear from the title. I take this opportunity, before the review, to thank the DC who sent me this little gem in preview.
As I said, the title says it all! Since the end of the Beast Boy comic, where he first meets Raven, both of whom are waiting to meet with Slade, there is an attraction between the two. But obviously Raven doesn’t trust BB, after all if you’ve read her comic you’ll know why. She has already suffered a disappointment for trusting the wrong guy.
But there are still a few days left before meeting Slade, and the two will spend a lot of time together. Until the day of the meeting comes and Slade doesn’t show up. In return, the two are kidnapped and tests are done on them. Obviously behind all this is HIVE.
I have to give you a very small spoiler, because I can’t keep it to myself. Maybe this detail will convince the undecided to start the story. In this third graphic there is also Robin, yes, him, the adopted son of batman. And with the appearance of him, my hopes that the other titans will appear in any future comics has skyrocketed.
I gave this 5 stars too, and if I could I would have given many more. Despite the fictional parts it’s a worthy DC story and a worthy Titans story. And a few days ago, also written by Kami Garcia, the graphic novel about Joker came out, which also seems very interesting.
As for the Italian release I no nothing since Beast Boy loves Raven is out today in the States, and in Canada, as soon as I know something I will let you know on instagram. Before closing I want to repeat, I super recommend this series to every DC and non-DC fan. They can be read in a few hours and the drawings are exceptional. I should have read it sooner, but better late than never.
