today the new book taken from the TV series Riverdale is out for Mondadori.
This book is titled Riverdale: Get out of town, and is the second based on the TV series. Chronologically it ranks at the end of the second season …
I advise you not to read if you have not yet seen the TV series up to this point. If you have already read the other book, read on 🙂
… when Archie was charged with murder, framed by Hiram Lodge, the father of his girlfriend Veronica. The events and everything that had happened in the past are the same as the TV series, but the really nice thing about these books is that apart from the scenes seen on TV we can also experience an extra Riverdale-style adventure together with Archie, Veronica, Betty, and Juggie.
Obviously it’s not a story set in Riverdale if it’s not about turning into a mystery, is it? In this case, the guys are busy finding a way to unleash Archie. But we don’t just have the four of them in this story, we also have Josie, Reggie, Sweetpea … and each chapter is told from a different point of view. But the most interesting are certain mysterious messages that you will read from time to time.
You won’t find out anything until the last page. Because it’s the very end that will make sense of the whole book, and then it’s only 200 pages, I’m sure you will complete it in the blink of an eye and return to the XD TV series.
