Captive Prince by C. S. Pacat

captive prince

Happy weekend.

My review for this week is on “Captive Prince” by C. S. Pacat, published little by Berkley.

Captive prince is a fantasy / new adult, small, interesting, engaging and full of passion.

The reading is sliding at the beginning and at the end, but in the middle of the story I found it a bit sluggish, which initially had made doubt of finishing it, but arrived at the last 50 pages the story took over and I ended up in a second.

The story, in short, because otherwise I would tell you the full book, is set in a world created by the author and talks about Damen, Prince of Akielos, who was stripped of his kingdom by his brother after his father’s death. He was sent as a sex slave without anyone knowing his true identity, to Prince Laurent of Vere, who at ten months from the beginning of the story will become King.

Laurent doesn’t like him at all. The prince is a private type and everyone is aware, that’s why he doesn’t appreciate the gift that is being made to him by Castor. He will also whip Damen many times for a trivial thing.

Everything changes when Laurent is attacked and poisoned and Damen saves his life.

But can Damen get into his heart?

And more importantly for him, he will be able to return home where his brother is in command and his lover is pragnant, ready to donate a heir to Castor?

You will discover everything just by buying it and reading it.

Will I continue the trilogy?

Yes, I will because I absolutely want to see how the story goes between Damen and Laurent, but i don’t know when because I don’t have the material time to read two books on my own, seen that I have so many reviews for the publishers to do, but be sure that when I read them I’ll let you know how I found it. Though anyway, just reading about Laurent and Damen make you ship them.

Let me know if there is any article you would like to see on the blog and I will do a thought.

I remember you to follow me on social and subscribe to the newsletter for exclusive news and unboxing.

Best Wishes,

Miriam.

Mi chiamo Miriam e sono l'amministratore di Me and Books.
