Captain by Lauren Rowe
Hi everyone,
Today I bring you on the blog the review of the first book I read for the Newton Compton Editori, publishing house with which I began to collaborate recently.
Captain is another adult book, but has such an engaging love story that it enter the must-read category.
The two protagonists, Ryan and Tessa, meet for the first time in a bar, but because of Ryan’s ex who arrives in the bar furious, the two, who seemed to have developed a certain affinity, lose each other for three months. Months when Ryan never stops looking for her.
Everything changes, however, to the marriage of Ryan’s sister, Kat. Because Tessa is the personal assistant of Ryan’s brother-in-law. There he finds out that she had lied about her name, and at first he is angry. But he soon realizes that he is in love with Tessa, so he does everything he can to conquer her.
But the part that I loved most of this book was the end that made me literally hold my breath for suspense and then for the immense joy I felt for the characters.
Lauren Rowe’s writing is so engaging and flowing that her books reads for themselfs. Lauren is also the author of The Club series, a series that has found a lot of success, also published by Newton Compton Editori.
If you read adult books then this will have to be one of your next readings, because I assure you you will not regret it.
To the next time,
